Library of Congress Subject Headings
Below are the Library of Congress' official subject headings for rock music fiction. Also included beneath it are both broader subject headings and narrower subject headings. Narrower subject headings pertain to specific subgenres of rock music, or specific musician. Not every music genre has its own "[music genre]—Fiction" subject heading, but they may be added over time, as sufficient works are created featuring the new genre to justify adding the subject heading.
Broader headings are very broad, and contain works dealing with any genre of music. Many music genres have their own subject headings. If you are interested in fiction about jazz, blues, or other music genres, they can be found under their own subject headings.

Browsing Areas
Unfortunately, this topic doesn’t lend itself to browsing the shelves. Novels are shelved by author, not subject matter. It’s also difficult to tell simply by title what a novel is about.
