Gobble Gobble
Gobble Gobble is a fast-paced word game that can be played by any number of players, and all you need is a full complement of Thanksgiving Day food!
The round is started by the person who can eat the most sour cream without gagging. That person is designated the "Caller" for the round.
The Caller starts the round by saying, "Gobble gobble." The person to the left of the Caller repeats what was said and adds a "gobble" to the end. The play continues in a clockwise pattern, using someone "miscalls" by either:
- not saying the appropriate number of gobbles
- getting tounge-tied
- refusing to play anymore
The player who miscalls has to eat a unit of food, and then becomes the Caller for the next round.
If a player wants to leave the game, he or she must declare and thus becomes the "Turkey" for the next round. The Turkey gets in the middle of the player, and takes every other turn in the round until someone miscalls. If the Turkey miscalls, he or she must eat double the normal penalty.
