Wardrobe
Your wardrobe is your first impression on the court. Make sure it says that you suck.
Athletic
More is always better in the athletic-style clothing. If you wear a knee brace
on one knee, get one for the other knee. At least one sweatband on each arm, and definitely a headband. A basketball jersey over a ratty T-shirt is assumed. Sport goggles are a nice touch.
Spaz
Freedom of expression is key. Try button-down shirts, bicycle shorts or
too-short shorts, and dark socks. That labels you a spaz on the court
immediately. Be creative in your clothing, but do follow two important rules:
- Don't over-do. No frilly chiffon dresses, please.
- No non-athletic shoes. Boots, heels, etc. are right out. That
just looks like you don't want to play basketball. You do want to play, you just want to suck. Also, your feet will thank you later.
